We'll get you Set Up
Think of a guitar set up as you would a tune up for your car. A good set up is the nuts and bolts of your music making experience and is essential to making your guitar sing without buzzing or wearing out your fingers. Factors such as neck bow, saddle or bridge height and string height at the nut all impact how your guitar plays and sounds. Each setup is customized for you, the individual. What works well for one person may not work for the next. By taking the time to understand your playing style, experience level, technique and musical aesthetic-even what gauge of string you play-we can customize your setup specific to you for maximum performance from your guitar.

Don't fret!
Sharp fret ends sticking out? Ouch! Uneven frets causing a nasty buzz.. Yuck! Worn frets making it hard to get clean, clear, well intonated notes? Whether you require a dressing of the fret ends, a simple fret leveling or a full refret, we can help your instrument reach it’s full potential. Fretwork is a favorite job around here and a specialty of the shop to be sure. Nothing makes an instrument play and sound it’s best like professional fretwork.

When Bad Things Happen to Good Guitars

Put the Bone in Your Tone!
Traditionally, bone was the material of choice for guitar nuts and saddles. If you need to replace a cracked nut or need a compensated saddle we’ve got you covered. This upgrade offers a great tonal improvement over the stock plastic saddles and nuts that come on many guitars and can clean up a lot of intonation issues. A properly adjusted nut and a well radiused saddle are absolutely essential for optimum playability. Quality synthetic materials are also available on request.
